Summer Program Planning
Present: Catherine Sodota, Jeff Arnold, Connie Kudrna, Carol Mullen, Pat Loncto
• Funding Status TBD
• Review Agenda
• Action Item- check on 7/6 – College is closed
- Food/ access to building – Jeff provides doughnuts but bring your own brown bag, and steering committee bring dish to pass, not a lot of refrigeration, Connie relish tray, Catherine chips and salsa, Pat fruit, Carol dessert.
- Room set-up on July 3-5: (Issue access to Business Building)
• Jeff fix calendar by merging PM cells, end at 3:00
Day 1:
• Start day at 8:45 gathering time, end AM at 11:45
• Teambuilding – Books for resources (Catherine) 15-30 min.
About us – Teacher Evaluation PowerPoint (Connie) 30 min. project eval are products that determine if funded in future.
• All people will have a blank calendar and they will put codes to signify their personal schedule:
o an X(or shade)= booked with the programmed event
o write in block=where you are and what you are doing
o NP = not present
• Scheduling- Pat explains her role as coach for writing/editing Learning Experience, day 8 rubric criteria
• Review of other available support people: Jane, Gail (Tues, Wed, Thurs), Steering Committee members
• Food —(for day and menus)
• TLQP site (blog)
• Project Server Space – user names and passwords
• Goals are word documents on TLQP website. Download and type personal goals into the document. Post your document on server space AND email to Jeff.

• Pat open sign up for coaching if Goals on MST server space

ÿ Brainstorming Goal Setting: bio, lesson sketch, button, rules and procedures, hyperlink, learn Vista (resource needed, is there a cheat sheet available-Jeff will ask? should we brainstorm issues and share solution? Should we look at Wed as a day with Gail for Vista support)

ÿ Recommended Catalogs: Eatons, Science Kit, EAI (need to complete order sheets), $35 minimum per vendor , no more then two different vendors per participant

Day 2:

• Dennis – Letter needs to be sent / MERGE cells for AM TOPIC: Classroom Management
• Jane – open sign up AM and PM
• Pat – open sign up for AM coaching and open sign up for LE Starter Tools (MERGE cell) for PM.

Day 3:
• Carol –Challenge Problem on visual logic (Figure this)/ Jeff – Challenge Problem (on-line at Resource page) (30 min)
• Peer Review process, Power Rubric, On line learning experiences, Checklist, Beyond the fishbowl (1hr)
• Preview of Zoo LE – Catherine (30 min)
• Write comments as a group for an online learning experience (1hr 11:00-11:45)
• Pat – open sign up for AM coaching
• Gail sign up for coaching
• Posting and support for Vista – John and participants
Day 4:
• Gail sign up for coaching
• Follow-up on items and overview of Peer Review, share student comments from class about peer review process from server space and notebook

• Catherine zoo clarification, food sign up – Jeff subs sign up (11:15)

• Lesson Study: someone can teach their LE:
Sorting – give people different items to sore and score on rubric – feedback on quality of rubric (9:30-10:15)
• Measuring – Dr Doran (10:15-11:00)
• Jenn Molfese science vocab (11-11:45)
• Smart Boards DS 227 (Reserve Room)
• Jane sign up for coaching
Day 8:
• Gail sign up for coaching
• Dr. Mary Fox or Jeff Congruency Table collegial circle, or work day (9-10:00)
• Cooperating Teacher Feedback discussion about challenge of placing students in Buffalo, what works with student teachers – follow up from last year (10-10:30)
• Rubrics – review how to design and rubric overview, participants bring in rubric to analyze – personal or on line.

Day 9:
• GESA / S. Green jeopardy II do half and then solicit questions from audience (9-10)
• Differentiation – Pat 10-11:30
