Steering Committee meeting – Minutes: 12/16/2008

Greetings: Welcome

Old Business: Approve minutes from last steering committee meeting (on Blog)
• 2008 funding has been received/ Cut in funding / manage growth in project
• RATE /Benchmarking completed
• Assessment tools (HTML w/links) – updates being made – (Jenn Twist/Dr. Doran –and Delores, Ann Marie, Marian, Vivian)

Time Logs
• Original time log and journals – are kept by Jeff / Pay at the end of January and June
• Shift: Pay form hours to pay for products tied to Goals – pre-determined
(Implications: summer project morning sessions pay time—afternoon pay for products)
• Set and type clear goals —with assessment criteria
- Sample: Assist in the design/instruction of EDU 327

Reading Circle Resources: Teacher Evaluation to Enhance Professional Practice
by Charlotte Danielson and Thomas L. McGreal ($24.95)

A $35 supplies credit will be recorded for each TAP member attending the meeting. Only teachers/administrators currently teaching in a Buffalo School are eligible to redeem the credits. To redeem credits you must attend our summer project and complete the Goal/Action plan/ Needs Assessment package. The terms and conditions of supplies credit are subject to change after review by our steering committee.
