TLQP Final Evaluation

August 12th, 2009

First, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the members of the TLQP, Daemen College, Dr. Doran,  NYS Education Department Grants, and Jeffrey Arnold for being such supportive and enriching professional educators I have worked with for the passed 10 years. I can feel and see in each one of you a true desire to do what you can to the best of your abilities to help and educate children.  The mission of the TLQP is in your hearts and I pray that our blessings will be shared in a mighty way in the near future to help the schools in Buffalo, NY.

The TLQP has made outstanding growth and is taking its rightful place in the revised educational programs of teaching teachers to network and instruct children. There are many dimensions to explore as this program starts to connect with the Buffalo Public and Parochial Schools to find the numerous links and assistance it can offer.  This program is the sign of “Hope” of new innovative blood that will revive the dying and overused systems that are not really meeting the needs of our children.

I am grateful to be part of it.  There is so much more work to be done to design it to be a thoroughly strong educational support system. The foundation is now in place.

I am very interested in working with Vivian Newman’s LE in my school.  She is a counselor at W. Hertel School in Buffalo. Her LE, I believe has the makings of a revised Social Studies program to help the lower elementary children cope in socialization; taking the socialization components out of the early years are a drastic mistake.  I predict that the ideas that Vivian are working on will be used very soon in the classroom.

The need of  change is so dear in the educational programs in our schools and I am condifent that the TLQP has some of the answers.

GLY,

Marilyn Foote-Kragbe
